My name is Mohit Anand and I have been an amateur astronomer since last Five years . I have traveled to Europe , Australia , hiked extensively in India now make a living working as a executive in an MNC.

After getting my first of many telescopes in 2001, I quickly came to realize that, in addition to our telescopes, we also end up spending a small fortune on accessories. Over the years, I found myself unwilling to pay a large sum of money for accessories I thought shouldn't cost quite as much as they do. I was also keen to try my hand at making Telescope/accessories and observing aids based on the many fine ideas available on the Internet, but learnt that finding the time or right parts was harder than it seemed.
For over a year, I had been contemplating offering a range of astronomical equipments /accessories - - to help fellow astronomy enthusiasts on a budget alleviate some of the frustrations I've encountered.

After several months of work on this project, I have now launched India-Telescope- This is a small business that my wife and I manage during the evenings and on weekends [sorry - the nights still belong to observing the stars :-)].

We strive to offer a wide range of high quality equipments /accessories at  affordable prices, coupled with topnotch customer service. In addition to the products available at this time, we are continually working to bring you new accessories that we believe present a compelling buy.

Since humans evolved, we have always wondered what is really out there, in Space. Humans have discovered planets, stars and supernovas and black holes, among many other finds. People have even predicted how the universe was formed, and the most popular version is what we know as "The Big Bang." Other people have described how they think the universe began, adding to the array of theories. None of these has yet been proven, and we may never know how it all started. All we know is that when the universe began, all time and matter was formed, and none of this matter can be destroyed. Also There is also no way to destroy time.

We at India Telescope shop .com , have been a group of Amateur astronomers for years & enjoyed celestial sights from various sites in country & decided to spread message of astronomy in our Great country at affordable cost. With the advent of comets , transits , this beautiful hobby has picked up & created enthusiasm in kids to adults , hence we decided to provide guidance & means to enjoy this great Hobby.
